Terms of Service
These terms are an agreement between you and Stalin E Commerce Company ("Buddy", "we") about your use of the Buddy app and website. By creating an account or using Buddy you agree to them. If you don't agree, please don't use Buddy.
1. Who can use Buddy
- You must be 18 or older and legally able to enter this agreement.
- You sign in with a Google account. You are responsible for it and for what happens under your Buddy account.
- We may refuse or end access if these terms are broken or the law requires it.
2. What Buddy is
Buddy lets you browse and chat with fictional AI characters. Characters are not real people, their photos are illustrations, and their replies are generated by an AI model. The service is for entertainment. It is not therapy, medical, legal or financial advice, and it is not a substitute for real relationships or professional help. AI replies can be wrong, surprising or inconsistent.
If you are in distress or thinking about harming yourself, please contact local emergency services (112 in India) or a crisis line such as Tele-MANAS (14416) straight away.
3. Your wallet and payments
- Chatting uses wallet money. Each message you send costs ₹0.20, deducted when you send it. If a reply fails to generate, the charge is returned.
- You add money in set amounts through Google Play. Payments, taxes and receipts are handled by Google, under Google's terms.
- New accounts receive ₹4 to try the app. The first top-up bonus adds 100% of your first successful top-up, up to ₹200 of bonus, once per Google account. We may withhold or reverse bonuses or balances obtained by abuse, multiple accounts or fraud.
- Wallet money is only for messages in Buddy. It is not a bank account or stored-value instrument, has no cash value, can't be transferred or withdrawn, and the bonus part isn't refundable.
- Refunds are governed by Google Play's refund policy and applicable law. If a purchase is refunded by Google, we may remove the matching amount from your wallet. For payment problems, email support@buddyi.in with your order number.
- We may change prices and offers. The price you see in the app before you pay is the price you pay.
4. Rules
You agree not to:
- use Buddy if you are under 18, or try to involve minors in any conversation;
- try to make characters produce sexually explicit content, hate, harassment, or content that promotes violence, self-harm or illegal acts;
- share others' private information, or impersonate anyone;
- attack, reverse engineer or overload the service, scrape it, or use bots or multiple accounts to claim bonuses;
- resell access, or use Buddy to build a competing AI model or dataset.
Messages are filtered, and characters may decline or change the subject. We can warn, limit or end accounts that break these rules.
5. Content
You own what you write, and you give us a limited licence to store it and send it to our AI provider so we can provide the service. Buddy, its characters, art, logo and software belong to us or our licensors; you may use them only through the app as intended. You can report any AI message in the app.

7. Ending your account
You can delete your account at any time in the app or by following these steps. Unused wallet money is lost when an account is deleted. We may suspend or end your access for breaking these terms or to protect others; where we end your account without a breach by you, we'll refund unused paid wallet money on request.
8. Availability and changes
We aim to keep Buddy running but can't promise it will always be available, error-free, or that every character will remain. We may change features, characters or these terms. If a change is material we'll tell you; continuing to use Buddy after that means you accept it.
9. Disclaimers and liability
Buddy is provided "as is". To the extent the law allows, we aren't liable for indirect or consequential losses, or for anything that results from relying on an AI character's replies. Our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before it. Nothing here limits rights you have under law that can't be limited, including consumer protection rights.
10. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of India. Courts at Kanpur, Uttar Pradesh, India have jurisdiction, subject to any consumer rights you have to bring a claim elsewhere.
